STUDY AND INSTALLATION OF FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM

The installation of a fire protection network aims to ensure optimal protection against fire risks in industrial, administrative, or commercial buildings.
The study and installation of this network guarantee the safety of people, the protection of property, and regulatory compliance according to national and international standards (NF S 61-750, EN 12845, APSAD R1, etc.).

1. Study Phase :

a. Needs Analysis :

-Identification of the type of site (warehouse, factory, office, service station, etc.)
-Evaluation of the fire risk level (low, medium, or high)
-Determination of the areas to be protected (indoor and outdoor)
-Study of the available water source (public network, tank, reservoir, or borehole)

b. Network Design :

-Definition of the hydraulic layout and pipeline routing
-Sizing of the network (flow rate, pressure, head losses)
-Selection of materials (galvanized steel, ductile iron, HDPE, etc.)
-Selection of appropriate equipment:
-Fire pump (electric and/or diesel)
-Water storage tank or reservoir
-Fire hydrants, hose reels (RIA), sprinklers, or deluge systems
-Accessories: valves, check valves, fittings, pressure gauges, etc.

c. Regulatory Study :

-Compliance with fire safety department (SDIS) requirements
-Application of APSAD and EN standards for fire water systems
-Integration of fire safety signage and evacuation plans

2. Installation Phase :

-Site preparation
-Installation works (pipe laying, equipment assembly, electrical connections)
-Testing and commissioning (pressure, flow, and operational tests)

3. Maintenance and Monitoring : Regular maintenance is essential to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the fire protection system.
It includes inspection of pumps, testing of hydrants and valves, and updating of maintenance records.

-Detailed plans and hydraulic diagrams
