SPRINKLER
A fire sprinkler head is an automatic fire detection and suppression device connected to a pressurized water distribution system.
It is designed to automatically release water when a fire is detected through a rise in ambient temperature.
Each sprinkler head contains a heat-sensitive element (either a glass bulb or a fusible link) that breaks or melts at a specific activation temperature (typically between 57 °C and 141 °C).
Sprinklers are arranged in networks to provide uniform coverage of the protected area.
They operate independently, meaning only the sprinkler exposed to the fire activates.
